Hello

Hi! I'm so happy you're here!

The TLDR version of below is - I decided to start losing weight and trauma while gaining financial security and to document this process. Sharing it with y'all has been amazing and I'm thankful for each of you ❤️

My Story

In mid 2019, when I was looking at the end of my 30s and evaluating my life, I started to do what a lot of people do when they are coming up on a milestone birthday. I started asking myself where I was and tried to compare it to where I thought I would be by that time in my life. How did it compare?

When I looked at my life honestly, I had to admit that, no, I was not at all where I wanted to be. I was in debt with no grasp on how to save or control my spending. I was over weight by a significant amount. I also had trauma that I had been cheerfully ignoring and pretending just didn't exist - doubtlessly contributing heavily to the first two issues.

Since people seem to go through a midlife crisis around 40, I decided that I would begin a "good" midlife crisis and work on putting my life in order. I called this "Getting my poop in a group"- credit to my good friend Randy that I heard use that term years ago and it stuck with me.

I began with my financial health. I decided to start budgeting. For the first time in my life. At 39. I overheard friends talking about this thing called "Wine App" and decided that if Nicholas and Kay were using it it must be pretty good so went home and searched for that. Turns out it's actually YNAB (You Need A Budget) and it is LIFE ALTERINGLY GOOD!! Check out my link for a free 34 day trial completely risk free.

Once my finances were a little more under control, I began working on my physical health. I started with my teeth, I think teeth are the most overlooked part of our bodies because they aren't included on our health plans for some unknown reason. Little by little I was able to correct years of neglect and inherited problems with my mouth and then began working on my weight. At 42 I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease, further complicating, but also spurring on, my health journey.

Also during this time I turned 40 and I lost my father, adding more mental health trauma. As I was traveling back and forth to my parents house (about an hour from mine) to visit my dad on hospice, I began recording videos on my phone just for myself. This became almost like a video diary of what I was going through and how I was feeling.

While I never intended to publish these videos, they had an unexpected side effect of getting me comfortable talking to a camera. I decided to start my YouTube Channel to document my journeys. This had a bonus effect of accountability that I wasn't expecting. My wonderful viewers, many of whom I now consider friends, have been so amazing about supporting me through all of my highs and lows, calling me out when I need it, cheering me on when I'm doubting and, most importantly, just being there from week to week to watch, comment and like.

I have been able to grow my channel large enough that I am now able to share some of my favorite products with them. Many have used the Amazon affiliate links that I've had posed on my channel for the last year but I've outgrown that and, now that I'm working with other fantastic companies, I decided it was time to grow again and start a website.

I hope that you find these products as useful as I have! Please let me know if there is anything specific that you are looking for and I will do my best to find a link and discount code that I can share with you ❤️

~ Love you! Becky
